Rubber bellows are commonly used to isolate against vibration and to reduce noise on pump connections, plant and to introduce flexibility on pipeline installations. Units can be supplied as untied rubber bellows or tied rubber bellows, with common rubber body compounds that include EPDM, Nitrile, Hypalon, Food Quality Nitrile and Viton available.
Stainless steel braided and un-braided hose assemblies are designed to absorb vibration from pump connections, to compensate for misalignment in pipelines and to absorb lateral deflection in exhaust systems.

Angular bellows incorporate a hinge assembly so as to allow angulation in a single plane. Hinged bellows expansion joints are predominantly used in combination with other hinged or gimbal expansion joints to create ‘2-pin’ or ‘3-pin’ systems, by effectively converting relatively large amounts of axial movement in to relatively small amounts of angulation.
Tied flexible pump bellows (or just pump bellows) incorporate a single ‘set’ of convolutions and are designed to absorb relatively small amounts of lateral travel or more commonly to isolate pumps and plant equipment from the effects of vibration and shock loads.
Tied lateral bellows (commonly referred to as articulated expansion joints or bellows) incorporate two ‘sets’ of convoluted stainless steel membranes joined together by a central connecting spool or pipe and are designed to absorb relatively large amounts of lateral travel (these units can also be supplied to offer relatively small amounts of axial travel).
Universal bellows (commonly referred to as Double Axial expansion joints or bellows) incorporate two separate ‘sets’ of convolutions joined together by a central connecting spool or pipe and can accept relatively large amounts angulation, lateral and axial movements.
Stainless steel exhaust expansion joints and marine exhaust bellows are specially designed to manage thermal expansion and vibration on high temperature exhaust systems on stand-by generators, diesel and gas engines, commercial vehicles, steam and gas turbines and marine engine exhaust applications.
